I've went with tan. It works good, and it doesn't get into your gun like the mud. I've seen it in one of the Lynch Mob DVD's as their handy tip. |

MODB and prairie tan, I've heard that you can stubble them to be darker, but it's hard to make a dark blind lighter in the field.
I wouldn't buy another MODB blind for field hunting it was to dark and needed a lot of tan paint. |

I use the fake christmas tree can snow in the winter to make it invisibly white. When done right you can't see it from 10 paces. When there is no snow I don't use layout blinds because I find they cause more trouble then help. |

Yea the fake spray works only if you can keep the can warm till you use it. I like snow covers when the snow flys! |

Keep it on your dash with the heat roarin' while your setting up and spray as much as you can as fast as you can and it works great, when it gets cold it gobs up and makes it look like a bunch of....shots....on the blind. It comes off very easy, more often then not you can just give it a hard brush with your hands before you pack up and take 75% of it off right there. Probably the most useful item to have when the ground is a 50/50 mix of snow and bare ground as you can make it as dense or light depending on how it looks where your blind is. As in if its a snow drift by your feet but bare stubble by your head. |

snow spray comes off easily, and plus, after Christmas, Walmart sells it for half price. This is when I stock up! You are right DucksnFish, put on the defrost and pile the cans up on the way out to the field for the best results Taylor S. Fowl Play Game Calls and Fowlnation Pro Staff |
