As my latest addition is getting halfway through his puppy stages, I can't help but wonder what kind of messes or catastrophes the rest of you have experienced with your pal(s).

Before we started kenneling our pup up (he had free reign over most of the house), it seemed like he would do targeted assasinations of the wife's prized DVD collections. Almost like he knew which I love Lucy set she was going to watch next and would take his pick from that box.

His beds are apparently more comfortable with the stuffing removed, so now he gets several layers of old blankets that I just keep rotating through.

My least favorite was when he decided to test the durability of the otterbox defender case I put on my new iphone. the case did it's job and protected the phone, but if I hadn't caught him when I did things could have gotten ugly!

Whats your worst?

Once I left my male Vizsla Colt out of his kennel when he was 6 months old or so. He had been doing good. Well I came home to find that he had chewed and scratch a huge hole in the wall by the door. It was all the way through the dry wall and about 6 inches long. Needless to say I was a bit upset.

um...for me it would be my little yellow female lab Lucy about a month ago.. I came home from work and found Lucy running around my yard. Which wasnt good because she was in her kennel when I left that morning. So I get out and start walking across the yard and I start finding cats...everywhere. My neighbors had brought me a load of cats a few months ago for the farm. Needless to say, the ones that got away have a new found awareness for dogs..lol.

My precious sweet, little darling innocently chewed off the cords on every power tool she could find, one day while in the garage.  In addition she managed to chew off the freezer cord......and yes it was plugged in at the time.   I am thinking the freezer was the last one attempted and a shock was received because I never had a problem after that.

my dogs live outside so I haven't had it too bad.

new puppy and I thought I could do a little training between commercials of watching my favorite show.  I feel asleep on the couch and when I woke up, I no longer had a remote to the television or dvd player
