I've had a pair of Cabela's supermags for 4 years and they are finally giving way this year. I have no complaints about them and will be buying another pair after the season is over! |

I have a pair of Lacrosse waders for 10 years now and only flaw was a puncture from a stump. Nothing fell apart on these waders!!! Not very many ppl can say they have had a wader longer then 5 yrs let alone 10 yrs. And these were used and abused! Then a few years after I bought them, Lacrosse stopped being american made and they changed their boots (made in China). My buddy bought one of their top of the line styles and had returned three different pair because each one cracked where the boot met the neoprene. Oh and did i mention this all happened in the same season!!!! Old Lacrosse good, new Lacrosse bad. I have been hearing some good things lately though and they have made improvements.
I really like the EQwader by Drake but unfortunately they don't carry my size. I would have to say they are the best wader being made right now.
3 years ago I bought a new pair which I am extremely impressed with. I use them later, and my Lacrosses I use early. They are Mack's Prairie Wings Grand Prairie Chest Wader. 1200gms Thinsulate and 5mm neoprene (3mm is standard). Awesome awesome wader with really great features. Plus Macks only has the best for waterfowling so how can you go wrong. They aren't a wader you want to walk a mile in, but for mild to medium walking and putting out decoys they are great. Super warm and durable. Boot is rally thick and the best I've seen. The waders ride high, which I love! Almost up to your arm-pits. They retail at $280, but at least twice a year (usually spring and summer) they are on sale for $175. So if you can wait until then, I would!!! That is when I got mine and it is the same every year since. They do make an ultra-lite version too.
