I'm thinking about getting a toxic nbd single reed mallard call. Does anybody have any reviews on how they fair in cold weather and how durable they are?
Thanks,
Adam B

I just looked these calls up online and have to say they look nice but have never heard one. Have you used one or seen it at a store? If so, how did it sound? Fowlnation staffer |

My friend is on their prostaff, I have tried them. To tell you the truth I wasn't impressed by them. I just bought a Bandedcalls Banzi and love it. I think you get what you pay for and they are middle of the road calls. But that is just my opion. |

Just checked out their website. I found the nbd single reed and listened to the sound clip they had to offer, and they sounded pretty good actually. Not to mention they are some of the sweetest looking calls I've ever seen. The price isn't too bad on them either ... keep us posted on your decision ! Kill 'Em All And Let God Sort 'Em Out !! |

If you go to there Facebook page you'll see they're are doing a sort of "Cash for Clunkers" deal but instead of cars, you can exchange old calls for credit towards some of the Toxic Calls!
Pretty good idea if I say so! |

I would never buy a toxic call again. The staff is so unprofessional. They often send the wrong calls for example if you order the nbd2 you will get a qok. They promised to send me the right call and after a month I still haven't seen it. |

Sorry for the late post. I did buy a toxic call and it is mediocre. I can get it to sound good however I have thrown some squeakers into the cadence but that is not the calls fault as I am still trying to get used to it. I have not been able to seize the call which is my favorite part because I had that problem with my old call. I did not have a problem with the staff or receiving the proper call, however I'm personal friends with the prostaffer who I got the calls from. I guess overall it is better then my old call and I am pleased with my purchase. Adam B. |

The calls look great! I bought their snow call mid way through our regular season. It sounded great....for Canada geese. A little tuning and it's barking just like a snow goose now! Put a hurting on them late in the regular season and threw it in with the ecaller this spring and put the smack down on whitey! |
