I talked my cousin into getting one in the Max4 about a month ago and he says its just like shooting my SB2. Only better because it costs less then 1/2 of the SB2.

I wouls stray away from it. Heard a lot of negative things about it. I'm a firm believer, especially with guns, you get what you pay. If you can I would spend the extra to go with a Winchester, Browning, or Beretta. Xtrema 2's can be purchased for a low price since the new Beretta has come out. I think next to my Super Vinci, I would have easily bought the Xtrema 2.

I have a buddy that got one a month ago and he loves it. He pattered it with the new blindside "I don't know what size" but he said that at 40 yards and a mod choke he had a 36" pattern.  With the full choke he was getting a 34" pattern and with a extra full choke he was busting the bords on the pallet that he was placing his targets on.

I just looked at one for the first time yesterday.  I have no idea how the gun shoots, but I know it just didn't seem to fit me very well at all.  Now I know you can shim the gun to help that, but if I'm gonna buy a new gun, I want it to fit me without having to do too much messing around.  I currently shoot a Mossberg 500, but have been looking into upgrading to an autoloader.  After looking at several guns yesterday, I think I'm gonna go with a Remington 11-87.  The Dick's by me has the 3" black synthetic models on sale right now for 499.00.  Seems like a pretty good deal to me!!

whatever ya do dont buy that 11-87.  My uncles got the black synthetic and i got the super mag waterfowl edition.  Both dont cycle to good when it gets cold.  Not saying they arent good for the early seson but i think im gunna switch to a 870 supermag late season cause that 11-87 has cost me way to many birds in the last two seasons

BEDB,  Thanks for the info.  Hadn't heard that before.  Definately something to consider. Appreciate the advice!
