Took my step son and another kid out for youth season. Late in the morning we had a group of BWT of no less than 120 birds in it buzz our decoys. Got caught as they snuck in on us. They went down and swung back around just out of range. They then lit on the opposite side of the lake. Noticed one bird was different than the others, turned out it was a cinnamon teal, which is HIGHLY unusual in Southern Illinois. About 20 of the birds eventually swam into our decoys where the two boys killed 10 birds out of it with 4 shots. The cinnamon would not come over though. It lived to fight another day. Reminded me of why I hunt, to see all those teal buzzing around and watch the kids excitement, good day, good day!!
