I have a Haydell Cajun Squeal for timber, Haydell Dirty Rice for open water and rice fields, two (Primos) for a little different tones, an everything whistle, and right now I have a blue wing teal which I sometimes swap out for a DC Woodie whine, for timber-holes, to play with the woodies. And my three goose calls are on a separate lanyard. Lance Lincecum FowlNation Pro Staff Call me AT&T, Cuz I'll reach out and touch 'em. |

I don't think its a bad idea to have an arsenal of calls when in the field. It will give the birds many different tone & note variations... Anyone who does it must admit it does look a little ridiculous having 4 duck calls and 3 goose calls jangling around your neck haha. I have an SR1, the real thang, and a daisy cutter on the lanyard....... its all i need tony you know that. |

I have 3 lanyards full. So that makes 12. 1 short reed goose call, 1 duck whistle, and 10 duck calls. They are as follows...1 Quackhead Quack Stacker, 2 River Bottom custom acrylic calls, 1 Classic Commander DC, 1 Duck Commander 1972 Premium series, 1 Knight and Hale, 1 Band-It custom call, 1 Zink Power Hen 2, 1 HS Pro double reed, 1 Duck Commander Teal Call. If we are talking duck hunting then it is 5, 4 calls and 1 whistle. If we are talking geese then it would be 3 calls that hardly get used because I am the worst goose caller in Iowa. |

i have one duck call one goose call and a pintail whistle. I also have my dog whistle on it. I dont believe in having a bunch of calls on my lanyard they get in the way and if your good enough with one call you dont need to switch calls when ducks are working. Just my 2 cents |

I dont believe in having a bunch of calls on my lanyard they get in the way and if your good enough with one call you dont need to switch calls when ducks are working. Just my 2 cents I would say the point of more then one call would be to sound like a bunch of different birds. Certain calls are made for better low end, some for med some high end. For goose calls some are for high pitched cacklers and some for big old honkers. For ducks there are higher pitched young hen calls, low end dirty old hens, no echo timber and open water. I personally like to have all bases covered. So what duck call and goose call do you run? FowlNation Pro Staff |

i blow a cut down ps olt D-2 duck call that i can make sound like several different birds by changing airflow so thats the only duck call i need and in my opinion its the best calls ever made. As for the goose call i blow a redbone speck call since in LA its the only goose worth killing. Personally I'm a firm believer that its not how good the call sounds or how many you can sound like when ducks are working if you make sounds at the right time they will work in. |

I have two good buddies that love the old wood olt calls and use them. As for RedBone they by far make the best speck and snow calls hands down bro. I have a pearl Buzzerd and love it. It's the most realistic snow call on the market. FowlNation Pro Staff |

I have 6 on mine; a single reed, a double reed, a gadwall call, woodie call, 6in1 whistle, and a specklebelly call. I have a lot of other calls, but it really depends on where im hunting. If Im hunting flooded timber, im only going to bring my single reed, woodie call and whistle |

Usually two duck, single and double reed, can goose and a whistle. Leave space for gadwall, diver, woodie, or another can call depending on where I'm hunting for day and what seems to be flying. All my calls travel in truck and boat with me. |

Recently added a double-reed Lynch Mob Stranglehold duck call to the lanyard. Love it! Great call.
I have two duck and two goose, plus a whistle on the lanyard right now. That changes depending on where we're hunting and what we're targeting though.
Duck calls - Buck Gardner Spitfire and my new Stranglehold Goose calls - Wingnutz Wingmann and a Gander Valley Powerhouse in delrin
Early in the season I'll trade out one of the calls for a wood duck call. |

I have 4 now. A short reed C&S Die Hard Apostle, a RNT Macrohen (LOVE the sound of that call), a Buck Garner Woodie, and a Primos whistle. I also keep my old school Lohman's goose call (long reed? traditional? Whatever you call it) in my jacket pocket just because I'm not the best with the short reed, and it's kind of 'ol reliable if you don't need a lot of calling sort of thing. |
