What would you pay for a 1984 mercury 25hp with electric start that runs good except the gear case is completely f*****? honestly I wouldn't until I found a new gear case for it. once I found a gear case for it that was in acceptable shape, I would only put about $400 into the entire set up. probably 200 for gear case and 200 for engine.
look online at the deals you can get out of florida but be very weary too join, or DIE. |

that motor in good shape would be worth about$1000. Like Clyde said, dont go over $500, cause you are going to have to put some money and work in it.
